What’s included in the on-site consult?
We do a walk-through of the entire site, measure the entire area, run a spectrum/coverage check, create a mini heat map, provide a recommended gear list, and deliver a fixed-bid install quote with a couple of options. If you approve the install within 30 days, the consult fee is fully credited.
How soon can you install after the consult?
Most home and small-business installs happen within 1-3 business days after gear is procured. Enterprise timelines are scheduled during scoping.
Do you work with my existing equipment?
Often, yes. If your current router/APs are solid, we’ll reuse them and fill gaps. If they’re the bottleneck, we’ll explain why and give options.
What brands do you support?
We commonly deploy Ubiquiti UniFi because it’s reliable, scalable, and offers local video storage (no monthly cloud fees) if you add cameras. The controller also gives you clear visibility into your network and data. We’re happy to work with other platforms—including Cisco/Meraki, TP-Link Omada, Aruba, and D-Link—when they’re the right fit.
Will you run new cables or just place access points?
Both. We handle low-voltage cabling, POE, clean routing, AP mounting, controller setup, and channel tuning. If cabling isn’t feasible, we’ll design around it and note any trade-offs. Cameras and NVRs are optional, can be wired or wireless, and can be included in the same visit.
Can you separate guest and IoT devices for security?
Yes. We use VLANs and firewall policies to isolate risk and enable mDNS/Bonjour bridging so HomeKit, Sonos, printers, and AirPrint continue to work seamlessly, even on different networks while maintaining security.
What areas do you serve?
Greater Austin (Austin, Round Rock, Cedar Park, Leander, Georgetown, Pflugerville, and nearby). We also take projects further away in San Antonio, Waco, Dallas, and Houston by appointment; a small travel fee may apply for these areas.
Do you leave documentation?
Yes. You get a simple network diagram, controller access, Wi-Fi/guest credentials, and any VLAN/firewall notes.
