Residential
Home Ethernet & Cat6 Installation in Austin
Wired connections where speed and stability matter most: home offices, TVs, gaming, access points and cameras.

Why wire it
For the things that can’t afford to drop, nothing beats a cable.
Wi-Fi is great for phones and laptops. But a work desk, a gaming setup, a streaming TV or a camera needs a wired connection. We run professional Ethernet to the rooms that need it, terminate it cleanly at wall plates, and bring it back to an organized network closet or panel.
Every run is tested and labeled, so you know what goes where and future changes are easy.
Our process
How We Wire Your Home

Step 01
Plan the runs
We walk the house, find the cleanest paths through attics, walls and floors, and agree on exactly which rooms and devices get a connection.

Step 02
Run and terminate
Cat6 cable is routed neatly, terminated at wall plates and brought back to a central spot with a patch panel or switch.

Step 03
Test, label and hand off
Every drop is tested and labeled, and access points and cameras on the wired network are set up and verified.
Where it counts
Wired Where It Counts
Wired where it counts, wireless everywhere else. Ethernet also powers access points and cameras over PoE, so one clean run does double duty.
Home offices
A stable, wired connection for video calls and large file uploads.
Entertainment
TVs, consoles and streaming boxes that never buffer.
Access points and cameras
PoE runs that power and connect devices on a single cable.

What Our Clients Say
“Braxton set up our home network and made the whole process easy. He walked us through a few options, pricing was fair, and the install is super tidy. We’d absolutely recommend FortiFi.”

FAQ
Common Questions
Still have a question? Send it through our quote form and we’ll get back to you, usually within one business day.
Can you run cable in a finished home?
Usually, yes. We route through attics, closets and existing paths to keep patching to a minimum, and we explain the options before we start.
What happens at the on-site consult?
We walk your space, measure it, run a coverage check and create a mini heat map. You get a recommended gear list and a fixed-bid quote with a couple of options. Home consults take about 45–60 minutes and business consults 60–90 minutes. If you approve the install within 30 days, the consult fee is credited toward it.
How soon can you install?
Lead time is usually 1–2 weeks after the consult, with limited rush slots. Most homes and small offices take one day; multi-access-point or cabling jobs take 1–2 days, and larger projects are scheduled during scoping.
What areas do you serve?
We’re based in Austin and serve Round Rock and the surrounding cities from Waco down to San Antonio, including Georgetown, Cedar Park, Pflugerville, Leander, Hutto, Buda, Kyle, San Marcos and Temple.
